Cowboy Character Concpet

After hours of playing Red Dead Redemption I couldn't help but draw something in a similar vain. I came up with the sketches and color comps a while back but only recently took them to a more resolved finished.

Playing Catch Up

I've not been updating this as often as I'd like so I'm going to try and get myself caught up. Here are a couple of digital sketches. They were a nice way to try some different techniques I've been interested in exploring more.

Pin-up Calender Feature

Recently a piece of my has been featured in a pin-up calender designed to support breast cancer awareness. The artists over at "Not Your Father's Pin-Up" pooled together a collection of work from several artists to put together the calender. All profits made from sales of the calender will go to Pink Ribbon International. You can view and purchase the calender here, on lulu.com

The work of mine that was featured was originally done for a drawing jam over on CGHub. It was a nice change of pace from the work I've been doing lately, and really let me experiment with some techniques I've been wanting to explore more.

Tony Orcena and Josh Schaeffer

I've recently finished two web designs for film and television editors Josh Schaeffer and Tony Orcena. While they both have some pretty prestigious clients and some great work, The Legend of Neil is easily one of the best. If you haven't heard of it you should check it out (along with their other work of course). The two editors frequently work on projects together and wanted similar sites to display their reels. I was happy to oblige and am quite pleased with the results. The matching web presence also foreshadows some of their up coming plans, but I'll let them tell that story when they're ready. You can find their respective sites at
